Forest Park has an unwavering commitment to nature and conservation, and we’re proud to have won the Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation every year for the past 22 years. We want this area of natural beauty to thrive for generations to come and this award recognises our efforts to protect and enhance the natural environment.

The David Bellamy Awards assess how we’re taking steps to help wildlife flourish and support the local community, as well as reducing energy consumption and promoting recycling efforts. The Gold Award is the top accolade, which we’re really proud to have achieved each year since 2001. We’ve also been recognised by the Campaign for Rural England for our achievements in forest management.

As you can see, it’s vital to us to preserve our beautiful natural surroundings and help wildlife, so you’ll see lots of environmentally friendly initiatives around the park, such as bird and butterfly boxes. We also manage dead trees and forest areas to encourage natural habitats to thrive. We use low-energy lightbulbs and electric buggies around the park, as well as monitoring our water usage and encouraging recycling.

Our local community is really important to us too, so we are committed to buying from local suppliers, as well as supporting local events and sporting clubs.

You’ll want to come back year after year

Families love to return to Forest Park every year because of our commitment to our surroundings, as well as the beautiful scenery of the park and North Norfolk. We’re open from March to January, with pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes. We’ve also got glamping cabins and catering for those that prefer a little bit of luxury!
