Beaches

Forest Park is lucky enough to be located within a short distance of two stunning beaches – visiting them will add an unforgettable experience to your stay in Norfolk

Cromer

Cromer Beach is just a mile away from Forest Park and boasts spectacular sea views that are best enjoyed by climbing St Peter and St Paul Church’s 160 foot tower – it’s the tallest in the country!

The Victorian seaside town of Cromer is famous for its sweet and tender crab meat, but you can also enjoy a walk among the fishing boats hauled up in the shingle or sample some of the best fish and chips to be found!

The picturesque narrow streets are home to a diverse mix of independent shops, restaurants and cafes, so a visit to Cromer is the perfect way to spend a day.

Overstrand

South east of Cromer is the beautiful Overstrand Beach. Overstrand is popular for people who want to enjoy swimming and surfing and, at low tide, the beach is wide and sandy, so is perfect for people looking to relax in the sunshine or build sandcastles.

Overstrand is located on the Norfolk Coast Path, so it’s a great place to begin a coastal walk and boasts amazing cliff-top scenery.

In Overstrand village, you can find cafes, a pub and a village shop, so you can take time to relax and explore after your day at the beach.
